Free Tango Classes

Your days can be brightened with a little Latin rhythm on certain Sundays and Thursdays from June to September. Instructors René & Hiba aka Tango Fever are offering free Tango lessons in Bishop’s Square, Spitalfields on Sunday afternoons. So be sure to bring comfy shoes and something you can move in. Classes take place underneath a canopy because even rain doesn’t stop dancing!
The dates are as follows:
Sundays between 1 pm and 4:30 pm: June 14, July 5, July 19, August 23 and a September date yet to be confirmed
Thursdays between 6.30pm and 9pm: July 23, Aug 6 and September 3

London Marathon 2020

An unusual October London Marathon, this year’s race was rescheduled thanks to the 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic.
Cheer on the long-distance runners along the world-famous 26m course. Starting in Greenwich Park, and finishing at The Mall, SW1, there is always a huge crowd and an exciting atmosphere. The biggest crowds are usually gathered on Tower Bridge and Embankment, as well as at the finish line.

MCM Comic Con May

As a preventative measure against the spread of COVID-19 MCM Comic Con May was rescheduled from May 29–31 to July 10–12. It has since been cancelled for 2021
Part one of the biannual London edition of the UK’s biggest pop culture event—the second takes place at the end of October. Cosplayers, film geeks, and graphic novel fans gather under one colourful roof in to pledge their pop cultural allegiance. This year’s special guests are currently up in the air. But it has been confirmed that Critical Role will no longer be appearing.
