The call is for contributions to the story stations around Canary Wharf, which dispense short stories for locals and passers-by. You can scope out the competition for inspiration ahead of time. What to expect at the National Theatre Home Quiz
Guests hosts have included some of the biggest names of stage and screen. Last month was an absolute blockbuster, with quizmasters Helen Mirren, Lenny Henry, Ian McKellen and Lesley Manville asking the questions. Subjects include the usual general knowledge, history, sport, nature and, of course, theatre. The runtime is only 15 minutes, but with bathroom breaks, drinks top-ups and time to squabble with fellow teammates, you’ll have no problems stretching that out.

If you don’t want to go to the effort of scraping up all the marerials yourself, the organisers have pre-made kits at £14.00. Otherwise, according to their event page, you’ll need:
250g of Wax (of the candle variety, we presume)
Your favourite essential oils for scent
A Wick
Wick Adhesive (glue gun or wick stickers)
Pegs (for holding the wick whilst the wax sets)
